Normal sudoku rules apply.
The shaded squares must contain a number which is a non-trivial factor (not itself or 1) of exactly one of the adjacent squares. (Including diagonals)
The shaded squares also have an anti-king's move constraint.

Reading carefully led to an understanding of the rules that worked. After that no T&E was necessary. Still it felt strange to solve a puzzle while not being convinced that I got the rules right for 100%.
