Self-Killer (Killer Sudoku)

Normal Sudoku rules apply. Additionally, there are ten colored areas. In each, the two circled digits form a number. The sum of all digits in an area sums to that number, as in the example shown. Numbers do not repeat within a colored area.

I greatly enjoy your puzzles but I am a "pencil and paper" solver. Could you please eliminate or drastically lighten the background colors on your puzzles? It is very difficult to see what I am writing.
