Parity Party Kidoku
Normal 6x6 Sudoku rules apply.
Special rules of Parity Party: A number at the edge of the grid indicates the sum of cells encountered when moving through the grid from that vantage point, UP TO AND INCLUDING the first odd or first even digit. For example, an 11 at the bottom of a column could indicate something like 6-5, 5-6, 1-3-5-2 or 2-6-3 (among others) when reading up that column... but not 1-3-2-5 or 2-3-6 etc. That is, the parity of the farthest digit must deviate from that of the others.
Note: If the clue is less than 7, it might simply indicate the value of the first cell. That is to say, you could be adding up zero odd numbers and one even, or vice versa.
Solution code: The digits in the diagonal from top right (R1C6) to bottom left (R6C1).

I did not use 11 clue at the bottom right. It works but I do not think it is needed for correct solve.

You’re not the only one who finds this rule problematic, RobertBe, though I don’t quite understand what zero has to do with it. For me, the idea is that a clue sets out to either count all odds until it encounters an even, or vice versa. But if it encounters the latter parity immediately, then it must also stop immediately.
Richard made a puzzle based on this ruleset, but he didn't allow single-digit solutions for any clue. See 0003LP, it might appeal to you more.

I don't like the "smaller than 7" rule at all. The 0 is not in the diagram, and as such it is a very ugly rule.

Schön, mal wieder ein A zu sehen, das hilft Anfängern sehr. Vielen Dank.

@Dandelo, I did change it, the puzzle is much tighter without the diagonal constraint, but that meant the whole solution had to be adjusted. Sorry for any confusion!

Have you changed the solution code, too? This is a correct puzzle, but not the intended solution.

Removed erroneous diagonal hint — puzzle should work now, thanks for all your feedback and patience.

Ich habe schon an mir gezweifelt...
