Hint only in the english description: Most of the given letters form german words. But there are - more or less intended - english words included as well.
Replace each given letter by a number. Equal letters indicate equal numbers, different letters indicate different numbers.
Draw a single continuous loop by connecting neighboring dots along the dashed lines. The loop may not touch or cross itself and it doesn't need to touch all the dots. The numbers in the cells indicate how many adjacent sections between two dots are used for the loop. Numbers are always valid for the whole cell, independent from the position of the letters inside the cell and the cell colour.

Solution code: The sizes of the orthogonally connected regions outside the loop, starting at the top cell and going clockwise; give as size the number of cells, independent from the sizes and shapes of the cells; X for regions with 10 or more cells.

Yes, the basis for this puzzle is a map of the North Sea island Amrum. Some hints form words with reference to the island. The three colours have certain meanings. Blue is water, at both positions are lakes. The yellow cells mark positions of a lighthouse and smaller light signs (since the name LUCA has to do with light). The grey cells stand for villages and special places on the island. Please have a look at my comment from Nov 5th and the hidden one (concerning some not centered hints ;-) ) from Nov 11th. If you are more curious about the references in this puzzle, it would be a pleasure for me to explain more in English.

:-)) Ja, ich bin sehr sicher, dass die gemeinsamen Urlaubstage dort auch für Luca schön waren.
Dem Rätsel liegt eine Landkarte der Nordseeinsel Amrum zugrunde. Nicht nur von der Form her. Einige Hinweise bilden Wörter oder Teile von Namen, die sich auf dortige Plätze beziehen. Die drei Farben haben jeweils eine Bedeutung. Blau ist Wasser, das eine ist ein SEE. BLAUE steht für das Restaurant Blaue Maus. Die Nordspitze Amrums ist die Odde und dort ist es ziemlich LEER.
Der Genitiv CLUBAREALS hat allerdings eher mit LUCA zu tun. Die SALBE ist bewusst so angelegt, dass auch ALBE sichtbar ist. Ein bisschen nordische Mythologie: ALBE, ASE, LUCA als verwandt zu Loki.
AUA und AUS beziehen sich auf den Erstellungsprozess. In der AUA-Gegend hatte ich zuerst ein A und das wurd nicht eindeutig, danach AU... Und AUS hab ich so ziemlich als letztes gesetzt. ERA ist nicht primär englisch gemeint, sondern als Vorname.

Dieser Geburtstag ist schon über einen Monat her. Aber ich hatte erst vor ein paar Tagen die Gelegenheit, endlich die Geschenke an Luca zu überreichen. Außerdem feiere ich mit diesem Rätsel das quadratische Jubiläum meines 100. Portalrätsels.
