Nurikabe Loop
(Published on 19. February 2019, 10:45 by amitsowani)
This is one of two practice puzzles for the Shading and Loops round of Puzzle Ramayana on LMI this weekend.
Divide the grid into regions, each containing exactly one of the given numbers and with the same area as that number. Regions can only touch diagonally. A single closed loop must be drawn in all remaining cells. The loop can touch itself but is not allowed to intersect or cross. The loop cannot occupy any 2X2 region.
Solution code: Length of loop segments in row 3, followed by row 7 and row 9.

Nice puzzle, the solution code is counting cells of the loop.

Interesting concept... maybe it would benefit from adding an example, as the "touching is allowed" rule is rather unusual.

This is the first puzzle I am posting on the portal, let me know if there is anything I can do better.
