Counting Neighbours Sudoku
Inspiriation for this type comes from WSC 2018.
Solve online in F-Puzzles or in CtC-App (thanks Nick Smirnov!)
Apply classic sudoku rules. A digit in a cell with a circle indicates the number of distinct digits in all horizontal, vertical or diagonal neighbouring cells. A digit in a cell with a cross indicates the number of different digits in all diagonal neighbouring cells. When no cross or circle is placed, none of these constraints hold.
Solution code: Row 7, followed by column 7.

Im zweiten Anlauf unfallfrei, wenn auch sehr langsam "Dröpche by Dröpche", durchgekommen, super Rätsel und wirklich schwer.
Ob die Auswahl des Lösungscodes zufällig mit der Serien-Zählung korrespondiert, wirst nur Du wissen, Richard ;-)

Dont agree about the "very smooth".... it stays a hard one even with the restrictions

I noticed that players have rated this puzzle as the hardest in the sudoku variants series. In my opionion, there are many harder ones than this one. If you realise how the restrictions work, it solves very smooth.

@Stefan: guessing is never necessary to solve my puzzles. Remember that all possible signs are in the grid, when there is nog sign, the restriction of number of neighbours can't be true...
