Zusätzlich gibt es in jeder Zeile, Spalte und 2x5-Block ein Portal, welches die Sicht in ein anderes Portal überträgt, wobei die Richtung die gleiche bleibt. Es ist Teil des Rätsels, herauszufinden, welche Portalpaare jeweils zueinander gehören.
Durch die Portalbedingung ist es möglich, dass zwei Häuser der gleichen Höhe in Folge vorkommen können (vor dem einen und hinter dem anderen Portal), hierbei wird nur das vordere gesehen.
