Place the digits 1 to 9 in every row, column and 3x3 standard block. All the digits on the marked diagonals must also be different. Besides painted cells with same colour form renban groups. These groups must hold consecutive digits, in any order. There exists 4 toroidal renban groups in the grid.
Solution code: Row 6, followed by column 4.

I haven't solved the puzzle yet, but I'm quite sure that it means, the diagram is a torus, each renban group has one colour and has parts on at least two sides/corners of the diagram.

Is 'toroidal renban' the term for when 9 and 1 are considered consecutive? — please disregard this question, it's been resolved. I misunderstood toroidal in this context
