For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a different Sudoku variant every Tuesday. I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.
Double Scattered Sudoku
Solve online in Penpa+ or F-Puzzles or CtC-app (thx glum_hippo and Nick Smirnov!)
Place the digits from 1 to 9 in every row, column and bold outlined area and twice in the grey cells.
Solution code: Row 1, followed by row 9.

Really enjoyed this. It is wild and lots of coloring is helpful. But worth the effort!
