For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a different Sudoku variant every Tuesday. I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.
Hot/Cold Thermometer Sudoku
Here you find an older Hot/Cold Thermometer Sudoku.
Solve online in F-Puzzles or CtC-app (thx Nick Smirnov!)
Place the digits from 1 to 9 in every row, column and 3x3-block. For every Double-thermometer-shaped figure the following is true: Either
- the digit on the bulb is the highest digit and towards both ends the series of digits is decreasing; or
- the digit on the bulb is the lowest digit and towards both ends the series of digits is increasing.
Solution code: Row 5, followed by column 5.
