For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a different Sudoku variant every Tuesday. I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.
Placement Sudoku
Inspiration for this type comes from Sudoku GP 2017 (Russian round).
Solve online in Penpa+ (thx Nick Smirnov!)
Place the digits from 1 to 9 once in every row, column and 3x3-block. Place the given figures in the grid without rotating or reflecting. Figures can touch each other, but they can not overlap each other or given digits.
Solution code: Row 9, followed by column 5.
