Wichtel 2016 (9): Schneefall im Elfenland

To Christmas 2016 some eager puzzlefriends have again arranged a group in which everybody had to make anonymously a puzzle for someone else. These puzzles are now presented one after the other here in the portal.
Snowfall in fairy land
Today in fairy land much snow has fallen und Santa Claus has to postpone the delivery of the parcels to the fairies. How shall he find the fairies' houses in this heaps of snow? Well, he knows there are altogether 12 houses in fairy land each one with a different shape and a loop goes through the land. Then it comes to his mind, that he had made notes in the last year and his helpers shall analyse them. What a luck, that he has his helpers.
Instruction:
Draw a loop (line without crossings or contacts), that connects
diagonally centers of cells and goes through all the cells with numbers. The numbers are the lengths of segments touching the hint numbers. Place as well the 12 pentominoes (rotated or mirrored at will). They do not touch each other, not even diagonally. The loop does not touch any pentomino, not even in a cell corner. The outside hints give the lengths of pentomino blocks in the corresponding row or column in the correct order.
Solution code: Row 11 from left to right; L for cells with a bend in the loop, I for cells with the loop going right through and for pentominoes the letter; ignore empty cells

Rundweg und Pentominos - was will man mehr. Und dann noch eine tolle Story. Ich weiß gar nicht, warum dieses Rätsel nicht auf 100% steht. Ich sah mich richtig durch den Schnee zu den Elfenhäusern stapfen... Vielen Dank an (den?) Wichtel!

Ich finde das Rätsel interessant, aber ich glaube, ich habe die Regeln nicht verstanden... Wie sind denn die Hinweiszahlen im Feld zu verstehen? Wenn der Weg im Hinweisfeld abknickt, gibt es ja quasi zwei Segmente, die vom Hinweisfeld wegführen. Müssen dann beide genau so lang sein wie der Hinweis vorgibt oder jedes nur maximal so lang?
