To Christmas 2016 some eager puzzlefriends have again arranged a group in which everybody had to make anonymously a puzzle for someone else. These puzzles are now presented one after the other here in the portal.

Lost in the present stock

Shortly before the gift giving the Christmas presents for all the good children around the world pile up in the stock of the present freight station. Santa's helpers, who are busy in the stock sorting all the presents, hardly find their way through the presents. Meanwhile Santa's sleigh is already standing in the yard, ready for receiving the present piles. But how for heaven's sake shall the sleigh be packed in time, since Santa's helpers constantly lose their way between the package heaps? Just then the helper's department manager has an idea. To avoid any further delay in sorting the presents and loading the sleigh, he mounts clearly visible arrows under the ceiling of the stock. He explains to the helpers: "The arrows help you to find the loop through the stock. They show you, in which direction the loop runs closest. If it is equally far away in several directions, arrows point from a position in all these directions. The path does not cross or touch itself. Come on!"
