For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a different Sudoku variant every Tuesday. I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.
Parity QuadMax Sudoku
Solve online in Penpa+ (thx Nick Smirnov!)
Place the digits from 1 to 9 in every row, column and 3x3-block. The four cells that are touched by an arrow have the same parity. The arrow points to the highest digit in the four cells. That digit is unique; other digits may repeat within the four cells.
Solution code: Row 8, followed by column 6.
