Symmetrical Sudoku
Inspiration for this variant comes from WSC2016
Solve online in F-Puzzles or CtC-app (thx Nick Smirnov!)
Place the digits from 1 to 9 in every row, column, 3x3-block and both main diagonals. The layout of both even and odd digits must be line symmetrical relative to both main diagonals.
For example: the given 9 in R4C1 means that R1C4, R6C9 and R9C6 all have to be odd.
Solution code: Row 7, followed by column 6.

Probably stupid question by this non-math gal: If a number is on a diagonal (eg 5 in R2C8), it only gets mirrored once, onto R8C2, correct?

What a beautiful construction! One of my favorite SVS puzzle so far. And here are links for solving this beauty online:

Es wird plötzlich erstaunlich leicht, wenn man nach Tagen endlich mal die Regel mit den Diagonalen liest. ;-))
