Inseln mit Hochhäusern, Teil 3

(Published on 8. December 2016, 20:00 by pirx)

Shade some empty cells black so that the grid is divided into white areas (islands), containing the numbers from 1 to P and with the same area in cells as indicated by P.
Exactly one P is given for each island; some givens are replaced with a question mark, which indicates an island of unknown size.
(Note that P may differ for various islands)
Two white areas may only touch diagonally. All black cells must be connected with each other, but no 2×2 group of cells can be entirely shaded black.

The numbers in the land cells represent buildings such that no height occurs more than once in any row or column.
The clue numbers outside the grid indicate how many buildings are visible in the respective row or column from that position; a building is considered visible if all buildings in front of it are smaller.
The shaded cells do not count as buildings for the clue numbers, and they do not block the sight to any building.

Solution code: Row 10 followed by column 8. "S" for shaded cells.
