Sudoku Variants Series (152) - Consecutive Chains Sudoku

(Published on 25. October 2016, 00:00 by Richard)

For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a different Sudoku variant every Tuesday. I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.

Consecutive Chains Sudoku
Place the digits from 1 to 9 in every row, column and 3x3-block. The digits in the grey areas must form a chain of consecutive digits from 1 to 9 by moving horizontally or vertically from one cell to the next.

Solve online in F-Puzzles (thx bbutrosghali!)

Inspiration for this puzzle comes from Bastien's blog.

Solution code: Row 5, followed by column 5.
