Wichtel 2014 (12): Technische Neuerungen in Himmelpfort
(Published on 6. April 2015, 19:31 by wichtel)
To Christmas 2014 some eager puzzlefriends have again arranged a group in which everybody had to make anonymously a puzzle for someone else. These puzzles are now presented one after the other here in the portal.
New technical approaches in Heavensgate
As usually before Christmas their is some tension in Heavensgate. Santa Claus really likes technical gadgets and is totally bugged by Servant Rupert who sadly looks back at the old times when he could simply drive conveniently with his reindeer sleigh from chimney to chimney ... "Capacity 14!" Santa Claus is just bellowing, "how can you be so ungrateful? You bemoan the loss of your old shaky sleigh, but the new one I've acquired can carry gifts with a total volume of 14. That's marvellous, isn't it?" Servant Rupert is not marvelling about it at all. "I have not the glimpse of an idea what you might probably mean with your capacity of 14" he wails. "Have you been living under a rock? Look:
Transporteur in Puzzlewiki. You simply take a path through all our workshops, collect the presents and distribute them into the pneumatic delivery supplies. As easy as pie. Look, here is the plan and the delivery supplies are all drawn in."
Servant Rupert is rather more irritated than before. "What kind of supplies? Shall I not deliver the presents to the homes of the people?" That drives Santa Claus totally crazy. "I've told you already that I have installed this year a pneumatic delivery system for the distribution of the 14 presents. Just put the parcels into the correct tube supplies and they take their ways to the addressees A to N. That's extremely frantically unbeliiiiievable convenient, isn't it?"
Helplessly Servant Rupert looks at the plan that Santa Claus has pushed into his hand. "Er ... well ... their are no tubes at all", he says. "O please, don't behave so silly", Santa Claus snarls, "of course you have to install the tubes by yourself. The rules you can look up here
Rohre in Puzzlewiki. The length of each tube is equal to the total volume of the corresponding presents." Servant Rupert is hopelessly overstrained. Maybe you can help him?
Solution code: From top to bottom the number of lines running between two adjacent rows. First for the upper diagram, then for the lower one (in total 12 numbers).
