Wichtel 2014 (3): Außergewöhnliche Entdeckung

One morning the small starfish Haschus awoke and found - not so far away from his home - a place at the floor of the ocean where over night a tiny coral had grown. When he told his friends Zelbau and Resal about it they were fascinated too. Within a week the coral rapidly grew bigger and bigger. The starfish recognized what an remarkable development this was and all 38 starfish of the small colony came to the coral to investigate it thoroughly.
Place two starfish of the size of one cell in each row and each column. They do not touch, not even diagonally. And they have enough respect for the coral not to sit right onto it.
Blacken some cells giving the coral. The coral fills a cell completely or not at all. The coral cells are connected orthogonally, and there is no 2x2 area of black fields. The coral doesn't touch itself, not even diagonally.
The numbers outside the grid give - in ascending order - completely the block lengths of black cells and additionally the number of cells between the starfish. So if numbers are given, one of them is the number of cells between the starfish and the others describe the coral.
Solution code: The two diagonals from top left to bottom right and from top right to bottom left; S for coral parts, W for empty cells and X for starfish

If there are any given numbers for a line or column, it's ALL numbers for that line or column. Of these numbers, one always refers to the distance between the stars. The other numbers (if there are any) describe the coral.

Das kommt davon, wenn man Umgangssprache mit klaren Regeln vermischt. Das Nichtdraufsetzen ist von oben auf das Diagramm gesehen gemeint. Das sollte aussagen, dass ein Feld nicht gleichzeitig Koralle und Seestern sein kann. Ein Feld ist entweder leer oder Koralle oder Seestern.

Ich denke, die Anleitung ist auch ohne Erwähnung des Wasserflusses zwischen den Armen der Seesterne ok.

Seesterne liegen nie auf der Koralle. Und das Wasser spült um sie herum, d.h. sie zählen für die Koralle als Weißfelder. Sorry, diesen zweiten Punkt ergänze ich später in der Anleitung. Naja, den ersten vielleicht auch.
For the coral rules the starfish count as white cells.
