Partial Twins - Filled Loops
(Published on 4. July 2014, 12:00 by Richard)
Draw a single, closed loop that doesn't touch or overlap itself in both grids. Digits inside the grid tell how many sides of the cell are used by the loop. Place all pentominos inside the loops, six in both grids. Neighboring pentominos touch each other at exactly one border segment. The pentominoes may be rotated and mirrored.
Clue-numbers in grey cells are identical in both grids, numbers in white cells must be different in both grids.
Solution code: 1. The used pentominos in the left grid, in alphabetic order. 2. The sizes of the areas outside the loop, clockwise, starting top left in the right grid.
