I created this puzzle for Roland in January 2013, 4 days after HCS1. I was going to make one per HCS round, but...?

Instructions: Lookouts
Divide the 9×9 grid into 9 regions of 9 cells each. If one counts for each cell the number of cells which are horizontally or vertically visible within the same region (including the original cell), all the cells for which that number is maximal within their region are given.
Solution code: For rows 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9, give the lengths of cell segments that are part of the same region.
