Inseln mit Brücken, Teil 2
(Published on 23. May 2013, 17:00 by pirx)
This puzzle combines Nurikabe and Hashiwokakero.
Nurikabe:
Shade some empty cells black (water) so that the grid is divided into white areas (land), each containing exactly one number and with the same area in cells as that number. Two white areas may only touch diagonally. All black cells must be connected with each other, but no 2×2 group of cells can be entirely shaded black.
Bridges (derived from Hashiwokakero):
Connect all islands through bridges so that every island can be reached from every other island. The number in the island gives the number of water cells that are crossed from all bridges connected to this island.
- The bridges may only be built horizontally or vertically between two different islands,
- Bridges may neither cross other bridges nor land cells,
- A land cell can be connected with at most one other island,
- Between two islands there are at maximum two bridges.
- Between two islands only one bridge connection is allowed (single or double bridge).
Part 1 shows an example.
Puzzle:
Solution code: Row 4 and column 7. Use L for land cell without bridge, B for land cell with bridge(s), 0 for water cell without bridge, 1 for water cell with single bridge, 2 for water cell with double bridge.
