Domino Sudoku
Place the digits from 1 to 9 in every row, column and 3x3-block.
Place all the given dominos exactly once in the dotted white 2x1-shapes in the sudoku grid. In the grey shapes 4 different dominos appear for a second time.
Inspiration for this puzzle comes from June 2011 LMI sudoku test.

@Arvid: it was for sure a pleasure for me too! I really enjoyed all the extra ‘Stammtisch’-evenings that were necessary to bring this calendar to a good end. All the stages brought lots of fun to me:
- preparing the ‘long’-list of types,
- after discussions bringing it back to a ‘short’-list,
- talking about how nice a variant actually is,
- thinking if we would be able to make a decent variant out of it ourselves,
- finally making, testing and fine-tuning the puzzles,
it was all great!
Thanks my friend!

Dear puzzle-friends,
Since this was already my twelfth puzzle of this Advent, this puzzle unfortunately is my last one of this series.
It was a pleasure for me to do this for you all! And since I'm not used to make lots of puzzles in limited time I learnt a lot :-D
And last but not least: to do this with Richard was an honour. Thank you Richard for all your comments, tips and your sense of humour while organizing this. And also... thank you for being such a good friend!
Frohes Fest!
Merry Christmas!
Joyeux Noël!
Noflike Krystdagen!
Feliz Navidad!
and of course... Vrolijk Kerstfeest!
Christmas Greetings, Arvid
