24 Ways to survive a Dutch Advent (2): Search nine Sudoku
(Published on 2. December 2012, 00:00 by Richard)
Eisbär and I are often surprised about the enormous variety in logic puzzle types and variants that appear in the portal. Sudoku is a puzzle type where the number of different variants is almost uncountable. In the portal there are already dozens of sudoku types published by various puzzle authors. But there is more! We have created an advent sudoku calendar with 24 sudoku variants that have not appeared in the portal yet (as far as we know). Some variants are inspired by other authors while other variants are invented by (one of) us.
Enjoy the puzzles!
Search nine sudoku
Place the digits from 1 to 9 in every row, column and 3x3-block.
Every arrow is pointing at number 9 in the respective row or column. The number in the arrow is the distance (with respect to the number of cells) from the arrow to the 9.
Inspiration for this puzzle comes from August LMI sudoku test.
Solution code: Row 4, followed by column 6.
