The numbers outside the grid provide the sums of all digits in the indicated diagonal direction. Digits on those diagonals may be repeated.

Last weekend (26-28 august 2012) there was an interesting sudoku contest at Logic Masters India. Most of the puzzles were variants of Little Killers, one of them being a combination of Little Killer and Chaos Sudoku. I liked this idea a lot, and made two puzzles of this type for the portal. If you apply the right technique, no trial and error is necessary!

Tolles Rätsel mit sehr logischem Lösungsweg. Nur, dass es 2 Jahre gedauert hat, bis ich ihn endlich gefunden habe.

Ich habe stundenlang an irgendwelchen Fallunterscheidungen gesessen :-(
- bis ich vorher endlich den 2. Teil des logischen Einstiegs entdeckt habe. :-) Damit ging es durch wie weiche Butter.

Ha, this is great fun and a very nice example of how international the portal has become. The first nine solvers are from France, Germany, Japan, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey. Great!
