The two grey figures are weights. The balance is at rest, so the two weights have the same mass. This mass is the sum of all eight digits in this figure.

@ RobertBe: Actually I just liked this colour :-) But you've got a point... next time I will be a bit more careful while picking a (lighter) colour!

Very nice puzzle, one nitpick: the dark blue color of the Waage made it nearly impossible for me to read what I had written in the cells.... A whiter shade of pale,euh, a lighter shade of blue would be preferable next time.
