I'm wondering about bernis comment to puzzle/solution of "and yet another..." by RobertBe/uvo.
Fact is, sequence puzzles solutions are always fixed by first author's ideas, not by brilliant or elegant different solver solutions. To be a comfort, let's try with :

1,2,4,8,9,13,X,Y,... (hint: 16 is no term of this sequence)

Solution code: Both sums of digits of the values for X and Y

Eine alternative, offensichtlich nicht vom Autor gesuchte Lösung wäre:

Alle nicht durch 5 teilbaren Summen zweier Quadratzahlen.

Mit der Meinung, die du als "Tatsache" darstellst, bin ich überhaupt nicht einverstanden: Wenn es eine einfachere oder elegantere Lösung gibt als die vom Autor geplante (wie auch immer man das messen soll - das liegt sicher im Auge des Betrachters), ist das Rätsel in meinen Augen schlicht fehlerhaft.
