Tetrapa kariert (mit DekOration)

Tetrapa chequered (with DecOration)

For the first attempt of a regulars' table in Hamburg and because of the indirect wish of a certain puzzler I made a smaller variation of my Pentapa kariert (mit etwas DeQoration), that hopefully makes the start for the bigger one easier for some puzzlers.

All 5 tetrominos have to be placed in the diagram. Cells with numbers do not contain tetrominoparts. On all cells, where tetrominos are put on, black and white are swapped. A black cell in the diagram becomes a white one in the solution if it is part of a tetromino and vice versa. After inserting all tetrominos the black cells must match the rules of a Tapa: Black squares form a continuous wall and do not cover a 2x2-square.

First difference to the "Pentapa kariert": Here ist not a numberhint in every cell, which is as well in the given diagram as in the solution white.

The numbers in the "O" are rules for the tetrominos in the max. 8 cells around the cell; they have no effect on the black cells. Second difference to the "Pentapa kariert": Each number indicates the length of cells belonging to one tetrominos in these adjacent cells. E.g.: Around the first cell in the fourth row are two tetrominos. One goes through three cells, the other one only just through one. It doesn't matter, whether there are cells without tetrominos between them or not.

All other numbers represent normal conditions of a Tapa für the black cells; they have no effect on the tetrominos. They indicate the length of the black cell blocks in its neighbouring cells. If there is more than one number in a square, there must be at least one white cell between the black cell blocks.

The upper diagram is the puzzle. The lower one should be just a help for solving.

Hint for the presentation:
In order to deal with this kind of puzzles I use the following notation. She is based on an empty diagram (like the botteom one) and allows me to see the two layers - the tetrominos and the Tapa - quite well: I write a S small in one corner of each cell, which is black in the startdiagram. Cells that contain tetrominoparts get a thick dot in the middle. I draw black cells only so dark, I could still see a middledot in them. In white cells I put a frameen.
Eine Lösung sieht dann bei mir z.B. so aus:

Solution code: For each cell of the 1st row followed by the 6th row (each one from left to right) the corresponding letter of the tetromino (For the letters look at the middle diagram above). For cells without a tetromino (this includes the cells with hints) enter '-' (minus).

Danke, Christian! :-)
