Background

I created this puzzle as part of an advent calendar for the staff at my day job. It's really not difficult because the intended audience is people who might have tried classic Sudoku but never seen variant Sudoku. I've also made a PDF version which you are welcome to share with anyone you think might enjoy an introduction to the world of variant Sudoku. (Related: a link to even more introductory puzzles from a workshop I ran).

Rules

• Normal Sudoku rules apply.
• Where two cells are joined by a white dot, the digits in those cells must be consecutive.
• Where two cells are joined by a black dot, one of the digits must be double the other.
