Parity Quads

(Eingestellt am 9. Februar 2025, 18:32 Uhr von NurglesGift)

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Cell connected by an black dot must be in a 1:2 ratio.

Cells connected by a white dot must be consecutive.

Any two cells separated by a knight's move (in chess) cannot contain the same digit.

The grey circles must together have all the digits of 1-9 on them i.e. none of the circles can share a digit.

Additionally, cells with a grey circle can not be orthogonally adjacent with a consecutive digit.

The small white circles with a number indicates how many even or odd digits is in the 4 surrounding cells.

example: a circles with a 3 need to have 3 odd/even and 1 of the other parity

Enjoyed the start but found some of the chains of reasoning rather lengthy at the end

Great puzzle! It required a really good balance of different techniques throughout the solve.

Thank you, apparently I find it easier to set puzzles than to rate them.

I'd wager 4+ on the difficulty. Otherwise, I enjoyed this quite a bit. A great way to mix parity (with the quad clues), antiknight, and some final kropki/anticonsecutive steps to round out the coloring resolution, all fair steps with some deeper scanning required. I found the hardest part to be resolving parity, and you set this wonderfully, in that you have to use antiknight AND parity to really move the solve forward. Really great stuff. Thank you!
