@TheNineElements Can I ask if you are going to post comments which directly address the solution that you follow convention and hide them, or at least leave enough room for ambiguity?

Such a pleasant and approachable take on the Phistomafel Ring, It was a pleasure to be able to use that knowledge in solving a puzzle that was attainable for me!

Probably my favorite non-fog meggen033 puzzle. I so consistently love your break-ins, and the same was true here, but it continued being a thrilling challenge all the way through!

Excellent puzzle. It feels like you know a lot, right at the start. But even with all you know (or figure out), it's still a real puzzle all the way to the end. Nice symmetry as well.

I rarely get a chance to use Phistomefel Ring in a sudoku. I enjoyed it :)

Thank you once again, meggen033, for giving me such a nice start into the day (and the month). I think it's more of a 1* puzzle though (at least if you are familiar with a certain ring). Just love your puzzles. Thank you!

I rated this 2/5 difficulty

Great puzzle! Really enjoyed the combination of these rules - which led to a very fun and smooth solve.

My favorite aspect of the puzzle was the way the arrows interfaced with the deductions I made using the other two rules together. The overall geometry was very nice and led to an straightforward and interesting solve path, and the way that each of the rules worked together was nice concept for an approachable puzzle. I also really liked the placement of the given clues & how they sort of 'signaled' to me (the solver) where I should be looking next.

The break-in was great, and the first handful of deductions I made using the quads and palindrome were around 1/5 difficulty. The remainder of the puzzle (when I began thinking about arrows) felt closer to 2/5 difficulty. The solve path had few logical steps involving arrows that are probably a bit too tricky for a 1* puzzle- which led me to tilt the overall difficulty to a 2* rating (leaning on the easier end of 2*).

Thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to more puzzles in the series!

Edit:
Somehow I totally missed the fact that the phistomefel ring could be used here (like in the previous one in the series)! I suppose using the ring would make the palindrome logic a bit more straightforward, but I didn't use the ring logic at all and just used basic/intermediate sudoku techniques for filling in palindrome digits. Looking back I could have figured out more information about the arrow(s) by using the ring logic. So for anyone curious: yes, this is definitely solvable without using the ring!
