Rules
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Each digit represents a value, the sum of two numbers from a set of eighteen numbers {-9,-8,-7,-6,-5,-4,-3,-2,-1,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}. A number from the set can be used only once to contribute towards the value of a digit. i.e. if digit 1 represents a value of 0 using numbers {-2,2} then -2 and 2 cannot be used again. Essentially you end up with nine distinct pairs from the set. No two digits represent the same value. A value can be negative, zero, or positive.
- Renban Lines: The purple renban lines are made up of contiguous non-repeating values.
- Parity Lines: Two adjacent values are of different parities on the red parity lines. Zero does not exist on parity lines. A negative sign does not affect the parity.
- On the orange line, no two adjacent values are both negative or both positive. If a value of zero is on an orange line, the value adjacent to it can have any sign, however, if zero has two adjacent values on an orange line, the two values have opposite signs.
- Killer Cages: The values inside of a killer cage sum to zero. Values can repeat in a killer cage.
- White dots connect two consecutive values, black dots connect values with a ratio of 1:2 (signs are preserved)
- Values connected by X sum to positive 10 and values connected by V sum to positive 5. Not all dots, Xs or Vs may be given.
- The values are sorted from the lowest to highest where digit 1 represents the lowest value and 9 the highest. For reference, this could be the sequence of values for digits 1 to 9 {-9,-4,-2,0,1,2,3,4,5}. The bottom right killer cage has the lowest and highest value in it, i.e. digits 1 and 9 as represented by the quadruple circle with 1 and 9 in that cage.
A grid of digits 1 to 9 is provided at the bottom to record their values.
