This is my response to the latest puzzle prompt by Scojo which called for "lines that go outside the grid". I have chosen slow thermometers and numbered rooms. Consensus difficulty for testers was 2/5 which I think is fair assuming you know the properties of numbered rooms.
Secret of Numbered Rooms
The first digit next to a numbered rooms clue can't be either 1 or the clued digit itself (unless that clued digit is a 1).
Lösungscode: Values along the 5 cell thermo, including the numbered rooms clue values, from bulb to tip (5 digits)

Very interesting idea! Like Hajuhn said, it also took me a good while to realize this fact. I don't consider that to be a deduction (aside from "i don't see how this is actually solvable unless ..." so you might consider mentioning this in the rules.

Really fun and clever solve! I'd love to see more of this constraint combination! (And thank you for the short solution code!)

Very nice puzzle. I'd say 2 star difficulty is about right. I found it challenging, but never really got stuck for too long. Took me 34 minutes doing it while doing something else at the same time. That's pretty typical for me in 2 star puzzles.
