Torn Apart

This is a collaboration between me,
ThePedallingPianist, and our Twitch chats - it was set as a part of a 48-hour sudoku event last weekend :D
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Chaos Construction: find nine non-overlapping, orthogonally connected 9-cell regions and place a digit from 1-9 in every cell such that digits do not repeat in a row, column or region.
- Double arrow: digits along a line must have the same sum as the digits in that line's circles. Additionally, each line must be contained within one region, and its circles cannot belong to the same region as the line. Both line's circles may belong to the same region.
-
Cave: The number in a circle shows how many region cells it sees in its row and column (including the cell with the circle itself) until it reaches the borders of the region. All possible circles are given.
SudokuPad
Lösungscode: Row 8, left to right, with "-" representing the region borders (for example, 12-34-5-678-9)

Quite remarkable setting, never did I find myself stuck. There's always something right there to grab onto and it's always wonderful.

The last rule should be *sightline* instead of *cave*.

It was a pleasure to be part of this setting process and I'm pleased with my contribution, though I must say the puzzle was already full of absolutely beautiful logic before I got to it! Thank you for another stellar chaos construction :)
