Sandwich Circles

Rules:

Place each digit from 0 to 8 in every row once (including the circles outside the grid). Inside the grid, digits can't repeat in a column or box either. (Clues outside the grid may repeat though.) The digit in a circle outside the grid is a sandwich clue; it shows the sum of the digits located between the 1 and the 8 in that row inside the 8x8 grid. Furthermore, each circled digit (including the circles outside the grid) indicates exactly how many circles altogether contain that digit. Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in that arrow's circle.

CTC

Lösungscode: Row 1 followed by row 8 (including the circles outside the grid of those rows).

Lovely puzzle! Very original design. I discovered it from zetamath's youtube channel (Sortadoku Challenge [part 3])

A truly fantastic puzzle! I think this is my favorite "circles" puzzle yet

A beautiful idea, and approachable execution of it.

I second marty's comment there, I certainly didn't expect what looked like a chill 'Circles' puzzle to be so tense XD I kept telling myself 'Ok, now I've really done it, surely this is broken', and yet no, there was always that one elusive issue to squeeze through. I've absolutely loved all the layers to the solve, and the different roles the circles played in each. That is one exquisitely intricate creation, bravo!

Enjoyable puzzle with some new tricks - I I had a similar experience to Marty of accumulating knowledge about the implications of the rules as the solve progressed. The 9x8 grid took a bit of getting used to as well.

This was fantastic - another great concept from Dorlir, and very carefully executed. I loved the amount of overarching deductions and unwritten rules there are to discover near the beginning (or in my case, throughout the solve!) - each time you realise one, it helps massively and is very rewarding. I kept expecting to have made a mistake and that it would break. When it didn't and kept flowing, it was very satisfying indeed.
