  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Remote Sums: A digit X in a cage points to a second digit Y located X cells away in its row or column. The number in the top left corner of the cage gives the sum of X+Y.
  • Kropki: Numbers that appear in the cells with a white dot between must be consecutive.
  • Numbers that appear in the cells with a black dot between must have a ratio of 2:1.

This is the first remote sums puzzle I've done and I found it a hard rule to work with, at least at first.
-----
I do appreciate you giving it a try, and persevering to the end. I hope it wasn't too difficult and you found some of the logic at least interesting. I expect no matter what the constraint (especially new ones), some will love it while other will not.

Amazing that you could achieve such symmetry! Beautiful puzzle, thank you!

Thanks so much for the kind words. The idea came from an offhand comment in Skunkworks, during a solve of another setter's remote sums puzzle, that brought this idea into existence. So many ideas come from those VC sessions.. anyhow, appreciate the solve/feedback!

Lost track of how many times I blew this one up. Very satisfying to finish it!

Glad you persevered even though there were tricky parts in the solve for you. Really happy the finish was gratifying. Appreciate the solve/feedback!

Very nice and interesting to solve! Thank you @XeonRisq

Thanks for the kind words. It seems that this constraint is something solvers enjoy, so I'll keep trying to find new and exciting ways to utilize it in some future puzzles..

Very nice and fun puzzle! Thank you

"Fun" is the best compliment for any puzzle IMO, because without it, what's the point?! Appreciate the feedback and solve..

Fun puzzle. Thanks, @ XeonRisq :). By the way, the rules mention white dot twice, one of which is a typo :).

Appreciate the fantastic feedback and solve. And yes, I was hasty in my prep, but only on LMD, the links have the correct rules within. Corrected now.

After a long long time I've finally accomplished to solve a puzzle of yours again:) Brilliant as ever! Thanks:)

A pleasure to hear from you Elliott!! Glad you enjoyed the puzzle, and I know I delve into the more difficult side more often than I should, but I have been trying to ease up here and there. If I may suggest "Split Apart", which was the intro to the Remote Sums constraint, I think you'll find that it's on the easier side and has a smooth path.
