RULES:
- Standard sudoku rules apply.
- Region sum lines: The sum of the digits on a line within a particular region must be the same for all the regions the line passes through. Different lines may have different sums.
- Cipher: Each letter represents a unique digit. If a letter is in the grid, that digit must be put in the same cell.
- X-sums: Clues outside of the grid indicate the sum of the digits of the first x cells in its row or column, where x is the digit placed in the first cell in that direction.

Lovely puzzle!
Just a quick clarification - normally region sum lines count each visit individually. In this puzzle, for example in box 4, the three cells are all added together despite coming from two individual visits. Same in box 5, the one and four cell segments are added together.
Caused brief confusion for me but at least it was immediately obvious that the standard interpretation immediately contradicts.

Brilliant - loved the flow, sometimes odd logic and interplay between the constraints. very pretty setting too!
