Inspired by Chameleon's fabulous fog of war idea presented in Lumos Maxima.
And huge shoutouts to CTC for implementing this feature!
This puzzle was an attempt to provide another experience in Fog of War-- Instead of using regular constraints, the puzzle have some "notes" scattered around the grid telling you more about the puzzle and the special constraints which can be discovered along the way. The notes are listed in the Rules for reference upon encountering them in the CTC link.It is suggested to look for that certain entry after you find such cells (marked with circled numbers at the top left of a killer cage)
Correctly entered digits will disperse the fog around it, its OK to enter a digit in fog covered areas. No guessing is required to solve the puzzle.
CTC Link:
Yellow cells are Checkpoint Arrows: The only River cell bordering the arrow circle work as a checkpoint. Arrows (read from circle to tip) form a number, that number equals to the sum of River Cells up to including its Checkpoint cell. ( 9= 4+5, 15=4+5+6)
Light Green are boat indicator(Note ⑤) examples: It may be adjacent to one or multiple River cells, but only one is consecutive to both of its neighboring River cells(The boat cells are pointed with arrows in the example)
Lösungscode: Row 9

Lovely puzzle with a (in my opinion) unique use of the fog of war rule :)

I thought this was a very fun puzzle, but the wording of the rules is awkward and makes interpreting them somewhat frustrating. I would suggest modifying some of them as follows for better readability:
2) There is a river that runs from the left edge of the map (Column 1) to the right edge (Column 9), which doesn't branch or touch itself even diagonally. Voila! It's the sound of flowing water! There is at least one River cell orthogonally adjacent to this note. Every digit on the River must be consecutive with at least one of its neighbors on the River. The River does not enter the Campground (box 2).
3) Arrows function as Checkpoints. The Arrow circle must be orthogonally adjacent to exactly on River cell. Digits on the Arrow when read from the circle to the tip (including the circle) form a number which equals the sum of the digits on the River up to and including the cell where it borders the circle. One cell sums only have the circle. Arrows can't be in a River cell.
4) You've found the end of the river! The start and end of the river are in a 1:2 or 1:4 ratio with each other.
I know it's a pain to update and re-export the puzzle, but I think it will be worth it to make it easier on the solver. You don't want understanding the rules to be part of the difficulty, after all. ;)
Reply:Thanks for your time for this suggestion! Would definitely take your suggestion!
