3D2Y

(Eingestellt am 9. November 2024, 20:45 Uhr von udukos)

This is a chaos construction puzzle which takes inspiration from Stephane's Slingshot series.

Divide the grid into 9 regions of 9 orthogonally connected cells each. Fill the grid with digits 1-9, such that every row, column and region contain each digit exactly once. No 2x2 area is entirely in a single region.

If a circle is present in a cell, a digit from one of the orthogonally adjacent cells of another region appears in its region at a distance of N cells, where N is the digit in the circle's cell. This also implies that if there is a circle in a cell, at least one orthogonally adjacent cell must belong to a different region. Two orthogonally adjacent cells are considered to be at a distance of 2 from each other, and so on. Please refer to the example puzzle for further clarification.

Here is a 6x6 example for illustration, with a link for solving online:

Lösungscode: Row 8, with hyphens (-) for region borders. (Example: 123-45-6-7-89)

Very fun CC, but is there any reason why conflict checker is turned off by default? Made for a near disaster for me.

Incredible! Every logic in this puzzle is delightful to figure out! Love the One Piece reference too^^ (Although I'm not sure how this puzzle related to 3D2Y)

----

Thank you for your warm feedback. '3D2Y’ is a self-reference. Just as it signifies a two-year break in One Piece, I also took a two-year break from creating and publishing puzzles on this portal.

---
Oh I see! Welcome back! Nice reference!

Thank you all for the nice feedback!

@Piatato - I agree. Numbered rooms and slingshot constraints are quite similar in how they work.

@Playmaker6174 It's been some time. I hope to contribute a few more puzzles to the portal.

Man it feels so nostalgic to see another new puzzle from you after such a long time x)

A very fun and cool puzzle overall! It wasn't too hard either once I understood how the main concept works :)

Let me guess...are branches allowed in regions?
----
Yes, that is allowed.

Awesome puzzle! Loads of fun logic throughout. The ruleset is maybe even more closely related to numbered rooms than to slingshots?

Great puzzle, the ruleset is a lot of fun :)
