Normal tatamibari and heyawake rules apply.
Divide the grid into rectangular tatamis. Each tatami must contain exactly one symbol. Tatamis with a cross must be square, while tatamis with a line must be oblong, with the longer side running parallel to the line it contains. No corner can be shared by 4 tatamis.
Walls are then built around each tatami to form rooms, and some of the cells in the grid must be shaded. Each room contains at most a number which represents the number of shaded cells within that room. Rooms without a number can contain any number of shaded cells, including none. Shaded cells cannot share an edge. Unshaded cells must form a single orthogonally connected region and continuous runs of unshaded cells cannot cross more than 1 wall.

A very natural combination! I've never tried a Tatamibari before, but enjoyed how it added an extra layer of logic. :-)

Nice idea, nice puzzle.
I like tatamibari much more than heyawake, but the combination looks natural and turns out to be very good.
But I wonder how to use the penpa solution check. Edges + green/grey or green/dark grey didn't work.
