with the clarification of the rule, I guess the difficulty of 4* is a bit overrated. the given hints don't allow that many possibilities to create a whisperline. nice and easy.

Added a sentence to make rules more clear

Well, then you need to state that clearly in the rules. Or else someone who's smarter than me would consider the midway possibilities right away and not find the break-in.

@henrypijames Wow, thank you for your lovely comment. Glad you liked it. And yes the cell of the cage sum is always the start or end of the GW line. :)

Incredibly subtle and intricate, just wow! Broke it many times, and it was often very hard to find the mistake.
Advice for fellow solvers: Make double, triple, quadruple *sure* that you've found *all* the German Whisper constellations for each killer cage sum. Because more likely than not, you've missed something.
Need to see this on CTC. One of the best and most entertaining puzzles of recent months!

@henrypijames Well some snakes do touch themselves. The snakes here (Lines) are of those types, aka they can touch themselves :)

What a great puzzle title!
Though it begs the question: Is a snake still a snake if it's allowed to touch itself? ;)

Incredible puzzle with so many nice interactions, had to use pencil marks plenty of times to imagine some possibilities. I really enjoyed this one :)
