Rules
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Cells that share an edge cannot contain consecutive digits.
Digits along an arrow must sum to the number in its circle; these digits can repeat when otherwise permitted.

Brilliant construction! Another gem, Panthera. Amazing to see the minimalist design lead to such a good logical solve path.

Incredible puzzle! With such simple constraints it surprisingly leads to fascinating logics and almost has me on the edge of my seat :}

@titus: I'm (weirdly?) delighted to hear that was your first thought, 'cause it was sort of the point of keeping the arrows nice and short - I got a kick out of realising how little I needed to force a unique solution, and I wanted solvers to feel something rather similar! Glad to hear you loved it!
@bigger: hah, poor corners - turns out I needed all the neighbours I could get for my inter-cell logics, so everything wound up happening in the middle of the grid. And yeah, I didn't want to make something too tricky out of this ruleset, because that almost seemed like the easy way out? Like, the particular constraints lend themselves well to convoluted configurations, so I thought it was rather more fun to try and keep things minimal.

Just when I was about to be fed up with all the challenge puzzle, you post one. I just want to check the corners, and that might be the easiest corners I have ever seen. Good job.

Well that was lovely! Thought this was impossible when I first saw it (given how short the arrows were), but there's a really nice flow throughout. Loved it!
