Normal Sudoku rules apply. Each row, column and 3x3 box contains each number from 1 to 9 exactly once.
The grey lines are palindromes: they are sequences of digits which read the same backward as forward (for example: 1374731). Each half of the palindromes also act like thermometers: digits increase from the ends (for example: 14641 is valid, but 53835 is invalid, because 5 is greater than 3).

Schwer und sehr schön! Immer beeindruckend, wenn ein Autor es schafft, bei einem einfachen rule set zu bleiben, und trotzdem ohne Zahlen im Diagramm oder zusätzliche Kropki dots o.ä. auszukommen.

With such a full grid and the double restriction of following both thermo and palindrome rules on the lines, I didn't expect it to be nearly as difficult as it was, but the logical flow and difficulty level throughout made it a nice challenge and a very enjoyable solve
