Pac-Man Sudoku
Themed rules: It’s Halloween… and those pesky ghosts have returned to terrorise the town. Unfortunately, the Ghostbusters are busy, and there’s only one other man who can restore peace to the town… Pac-Man.
It’s up to you to guide Pac-Man around town, collecting the last remaining power pellets, so he can eat all four evil ghosts. In order to eat the ghosts, Pac-Man must first pick up a power pellet to make them vulnerable. Each time Pac-Man gets a power pellet, he can only eat one ghost before needing to grab another pellet. Once Pac-Man has eaten his last ghost, his path ends and Halloween will be saved… until next year!!!
Rules:
- Beginning in the yellow cell (R7C5), create a 1-cell wide path that cannot cross itself or touch itself orthogonally, but can touch itself diagonally
- The path must alternate between circles and coloured cells (beginning with yellow) until all circles and all coloured cells are taken
- The grey cells are walls. The digit in a wall cell indicates the number of path cells in the 8 cells around that wall
- Circle cells are unique odd digits, square cells (the 4 coloured cells) are unique even digits
- Row 5 and Column 5 wrap around, meaning the path can pass through one end and come out on the other side (like in Pac-Man)

I liked the Pac-Man part a lot. Thanks for the puzzle. Took me quite a while to figure out that is actually not that hard… Can‘t wait for the Donkey Kong Sudoku ;-)

nice sodoku. took me 5 trials and 54 min in the last. Liked the logic and i was blind a lot of times to find the numbers.

Great puzzle! I liked how you needed to mix different elements to get to the answers sometimes. Took me a while, but if you looked, there was always a next step.

Very nice puzzle ! The Pacman mashup is quite nice, the rule set fits perfectly. Not extremely hard logic, but consistent difficulty throughout the solve, I really enjoyed it !

So is a ghost cell counted as a path cell when counting up the path cells for the grey cell values? I'm assuming yes?
@ThrowngNinja that’s correct, once a ghost is taken it becomes part of the path
