Letter Scrabble - Indonesia's Independence Day Special

(Eingestellt am 17. August 2020, 07:00 Uhr von athin)

Rules of Letter Scrabble:
  • Place each of the given words into the grid exactly once, one letter per cell, reading from left to right or top to bottom.
  • All words must be connected, and no words other than the given words can appear in the grid.
  • Some letters are already given in the grid, and all of their occurrences have already been entered.

August 17 is Indonesia's Independence Day! On this special occasion, I'm constructing a puzzle to honor all 7 Indonesian presidents. :)

The standard Letter Scrabble rules apply.

Lösungscode: Rows 3 and 12 (left-right) also columns 7 and 16 (top-down). Write down the letters if any (skipping the blanks).

@Nylimb I first put this as a standard "Scrabble" but I realized it's actually not the same because not ALL OCCURRENCES of some letters are given. This "Letter Scrabble" comes from Logic Master India's contests. They are used a lot there, and here is one of the recent: https://logicmastersindia.com/PR/201903/ . You can also see both "Scrabble" and "Letter Scrabble" in that particular contest too, :)

@athin: Thanks for the clarification.

I tried a Google search to find out what the "standard Letter Scrabble rules" are, but didn't find anything. Eventually I decided to assume that it's similar to actual Scrabble, so that, for example, each word must be preceded and followed by either an empty cell or an edge of the grid. And you can't have a contiguous group of 2 or more letters in a row or column that isn't part of one of the given words.

I must admit that I only partially solved this: I found the solution, but can't prove that it's unique.

@Nylimb Ah, SOEKARNO should appear by itself (not in SOEKARNOPUTRI). Each word in the list should appear as an independent word in the board exactly once (must appear and not appearing twice or more).

Can you clarify the "exactly once" rule? Specifically, should SOEKARNO appear only as part of SOEKARNOPUTRI, or should it also appear by itself? Thanks.
