Little killers the numbers can repeat
Killer cages the numbers cannot repeat (also numbers not on mines cannot repeat)

Wait! Can digits repeat within a cage? Can they repeat along diagonal little killer lines?
I just realized that I might have wasted a lot of time staring at the puzzle simply because the rules aren't stated explicitly. "Little killer and cages function normally" really doesn't mean much, especially to people who haven't done a lot of them.

Only three. And as the same as minesweeper, diagonally is allowed.

@henrypijames
There are exactly 3 mines in each box. Each box is an isolated minesweeper field - the digits 1, 2, 3 within each box act as minesweeper clues (they can see 1 cell orthogonally or diagonally adjacent to them) and can only see the 3 mines within their own box. (They cannot see mines from other boxes.)

Are there "only 3 mines" (as in: no more but possibly less) in each box, or always exactly 3?
And "adjacent" can be both orthogonally or diagonally, like in Minesweeper, right?
