I found out that it is Richard's birthday today:
Richard ran a very successful WSC last year! To show my appreciation for him and to say "happy birthday", I created this puzzle. Sorry if it is not very good - I only had an hour to create it and I didn't want to miss my chance.
Standard Sudoku rules apply. In addition, each grey line and the diagonal from top left to bottom right must contain digits which sum to 50.

If you are having birthday, you are also supposed to treat. My treat for you is that SVS will be continued relatively soon. After WSC I had some kind of 'writer's block', but right now I am busy finalising DSM and the Dutch Championships, and after that I will start making SVS-puzzles again. I still have enough ideas to extend the series a bit. Fortunately the portal is fed with quite a number of very nice sudokus from new and fresh authors, so you don't have to get bored!
